Documents needed for: 


Legalization of documents

The person concerned must:

1. Prepare the document.

2. Present the document before a notary public of his / her choice.

3. Have the signature of the notary signed by the Secretary of State of Florida.

4. Have a valid passport for legalization of the file at the consulate.


Mandate or Power of Attorney

The person concerned must:

1. Have a valid passport.

2. Have the name and number of the agent’s identity card (person given authorization / power of attorney).

Mandate of sale of property

The person concerned must:

1. Be Equipped with the Title of Ownership

2. Be able to explain the conditions under which the principal (the person granting authorization) is the owner.

3. Have a valid passport.

4. Have the name of the agent (person given authorization / power of attorney).

5. Have the identity card number of the agent.

Mandate of sale of vehicle

The person concerned must:

1. Provide the make and model of the vehicle.

2. Provide year, color, serial number, engine number, number of cylinders, number of doors of vehicle.

3. Have a valid passport.

4. Have the name of the agent (person given authorization / power of attorney).

5. Have the agent’s card number (NIF).

NB: If the client is not Haitian, you must:

1. Prepare the document or mandate.

2. Present the document or mandate before a notary public of his / her choice.

3. Have the signature of the notary signed by the Secretary of State of Florida.

4. Appear to the Consulate with the above information.


Visas

As of January 10th, 2012 nationals of the Dominican Republic, Panama, & Colombia will not require a visa to enter Haiti if they have in their passport (valid for at least six months) a valid Schengen, American, or Canadian visa. 

Nationals of all other countries do not require a visa to visit Haiti, but must present a passport valid for at least six months when entering the country. The visit cannot exceed ninety (90) days.

Processing & fees:

Visa requests must be made in person at the consulate at least 3 weeks before departure date. The processing fee (including shipping) is $100. 

The following documents are required: 

– A Copy of the roundtrip airline ticket

– Two passport-sized, color photos  on a white background 

– A passport valid for at least six months

– Residency card

– A letter explaining the reasons of your visit to Haiti 

– The visa application filled at the Consulate
